Ballerina Shoes

After Annamaria (12), a Roma, wins a race dressed in ballerinas, coach Norbert (35) agrees to train her. After initial struggles with hereditary poverty, Annamaria wins the National Championship. When Norbert finally realizes he is responsible for her on and off track, it is too late. She is pregnant. Norbert tries to help, but is overpowered by her family and the media that follow her every step. Annamaria has a miscarriage and withdraws contact. But he keeps on hoping to train her once again.
