Summer, 2001. Kien, 17 and blazing with red hair, returns to his family at a bustling Cheb market after a decade in Vietnam. But the homecoming isn’t what he imagined: a cold father, a worried mother, and a younger brother ready to challenge him at every turn. As he prints Pokémon on T-shirts, fumbles through Czech grammar, and flirts by the lake, a buried secret emerges—one that will shake the entire marketplace. With wit and warmth, director Dužan Duong paints a vivid portrait of a generation caught between two worlds.
